The Libyan Medical Library is a searchable online database, containing more than 4500 citations for medical and health-related articles (of all types) and books, published in Libyan journals, written by Libyan authors, or are related to Libya.

New abstracts in health and health-related sciences will be regularly added to the database. The current database may show missing search results, which will be manually fixed over time.

This project is a continuation of the previous “Libyan Medical Index”, created by Dr Abdulwahab M. Albarsha (May Allah have mercy on him), and Dr Rafik R.Elmehdawi, in January 2007, which is unfortunately no longer existing since 2019.
