Abstract
A 45 years old female patient from Chad was admitted with recurrent attacks of epistaxis and haematemesis, producing severe iron deficiency anaemia. Investigations suggested that the bleeding had been precipitated by an uncommon disease — Type IV Ehler-Danlos syndrome (EDS).
