Abstract
Objectives of the study: The objective of this study was to assess the true length of the gestation by means of first day of last menstrual period (calendar method) and early ultrasound (USS) method. Setting: Tripoli Medical Centre Obstetric and Gynaecology Department (antenatal ward – labour ward – postnatal ward). Design: Randomized non-controlled study. Population: Hundred women beyond 42 weeks gestation
