Abstract

Adult Stills disease (ASD) is uncommon clinical entity, and physicians frequently face a delay in making a definitive clinical diagnosis of the condition, which largely depends on constellation of clinical features {high swinging fever, the evanescent maculopapular skin rash, and arthritis) and in lacking specific laboratory marker (apart from the markedly elevated serum ferritin levels). Here, we report one case of ASD, which posed a diagnostic challenge, because she presented with a non-arthritic from of the disease either at the presentation or during the twelve months follow-up period. And this is the first case report of ASD in the Libyan literature, to our best of knowledge.
