Abstract

The history of disease in 163 diabetic patients was studied. Juvenile diabetes was established in 19 cases. The biggest group (163) suffered from adult form of the disease. There were eight patients in the group with asymptomatic, 14 with non-specific symptomatic and 23 with oligosymptomatic form. Arterial hypertension was involved in 56 patients. In seven cases ECG findings revealed coronary disease. Peripheral vascular damages on the lower extremities were found in 61 patients, peripheral polyneuropathy was established in 50. Six patients died.
