Abstract

Two cases of aortocaval fistula were treated successfully with prompt surgical repair and Dacron graft insertion in place of the abdominal aortic Aneurysm. One of the cases presented here displayed sings and symptoms characteristics of aortocaval fistula. In the other case a coincident rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm into both the retro peritoneum and the inferior vane cava had occurred, and symptom characteristics of arteriovenous fistula were not present.
