Abstract

Pharmacological screening was performed to study the effect of the biologically active materials separated from bee vonom. Biological activity was demonstrated by tachycardia, lowering in blood pressure, increased force of intestinal motility and decreased force of contraction on non-pregnant oestrous uteri.
The biological findings are physiologically and pharmacologically discussed.
