Abstract
Increasing use of computerized axial tomography in diagnostic procedures demands a thorough knowledge of sectional anatomy. Because of the advances in radiology the study of cross sectional anatomy can only be purposefully examined when correlated with CAT scanning. A new approach is described by which this can be readily achieved, providing a programme of study both meaningful and useful in the total context of medicine. The approach is particularly relevant to radiologists and surgeons. it may moreover, warrant a place in the training of medical undergraduates.
