Abstract

Skin diseases associated with pregnancy are described, mainly stressing upon their incidence. 233 pregnant women with skin lesions were seen during a period of nine months. The incidence of pruritus gravidarum and prurigo gestations was found to be lower than reported in foreign literature. Whereas no significant difference was seen in the incidence of papular dermatosis as compared to reports from other countries, the incidence of herpes gestationis was higher in our series.
