Abstract

Dimer-X Ventriculography was carried out on twenty patients at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Gaiyounis Teaching Hospital between 1975 and 1977. Most of the patients were children aged 2 to 14 years. Majority presented with hydrocephalus and signs of gross intracranial hypertension, in which history, clinical examination, and other auxiliary investigations including Angiography did not help to find the precise location of the pat hological process. In these cases Dimer-X Ventriculography gave exact diagnosis and localization of the posterior fossa lesions. No patient was made worse by the Procedure.
