Abstract

Diaphragmatic hernia considerably complicates correct diagnostics. Of all diaphragmatic hernias, the most frequent ones are hiatus hernia and hiatus insufficiency. In the patient presented here, who was 67, living in Sabrata, there were some specific features. Hiatus hernia provoked stenocardial disorders with concomitant cardiac arhythmia due to the presence of extrasystole in bigeminia and trigeminia more often, though. An X-ray helped establish correct diagnosis.
