Abstract
Medicolegal management of cases of alcoholic consumption and intoxication is discussed in the light of the Libyan Law relating to prohibition of drinking and drunken driving. Some guidelines are provided for the improvement of the current procedure. Suggestions and recommendations are also made for enhancing the quality of medicolegal service and making suitable amendments in the law in public interest.
