This is case presentation of Kala-Azar disease with cardinal symptoms and Leishmania Donovani finding in a dense drop. The course of the disease was extremely grave. Clinical symptoms were: fatigue, hematemesis, melena, ascites and others with concomitant gravidity in the second half of the term. Pregnancy was full-term, delivery was spontaneous for the sixth time in spite of cardiac defect and decoinpensated liver cirrhosis. This is a rather rare case, illustrative in the internal clinical practice.
