Abstract
During a one-years’ bacteriological study of Ophthalmia Neonatorum from the “Great River Eye Hospital” in Benghazi, 22 cases were diagnosed. The bacteriological examination showed positive cultures only in 5 cases (staphylococcus aurous in 3 cases, and Streptococcus pneumonia in 2 cases).
