Abstract
Lung Cancer was diagnosed in 27 (39%) out of 69 cases, referred for bronchoscopic examination from various centres in Benghazi area. This diagnosis could be confirmed histologically in 18 (26%) cases on biospy examination. There was a significantly higher incidence of undifferentiated carcinoma, particularly the small cell type in this series of cases.
