Abstract
22 patients were admitted to El-Jala Hospital in 1984 with stab wounds of the chest. Two patients among them had penetrating stab wounds to the right ventricle of the heart with cardiac tamponade. Left thoracotomy was performed on these patients. The cardiac tamponade was removed and the cardiac wounds were sutured. Both patients recovered well.
