Abstract

Operations research need not be long- term, sophisticated or academically oriented. Instead it should be an efficient tool to find correct means, identify alternatives and discover useful innovation. Operations research has been used in practical methodology in research, aiming to improve program performance and as a key element to intensify the impact of family planning program. It is a methodology of both quantitative and qualitative to be employed and it is not necessary that the operations research being in the long run. The international agencies encourage the collaboration between the organizations of public and private sectors, universities and other institutions of the private sector.
