Abstract
A 21 years old Libyan girl presented herself with the symptoms and signs indicative of a liver abscess. The incidentally removed appendix after an exploratory Iaparatomy lead to the diagnosis of Polyarteritis nodosa. The involvement of the appendix in the early phase of this disease, is a rarity, which has prompted us to report this case.
