Abstract
Ovarian Carcinoma is one of the major cancers encounter the Gynaecologist . There is a strong correlation between tumour stage and the prognosis, early detection improve survival rate. Several immunological and imaging techniques have been developed. In this article a review of those tests and techniques are presented. Among those, the sensitivity of transabdominal ultrasonographgy is encouraging if combined with Transvaginal Colour flow imaging technique, it may reduce the false positive cases and improve the sensitivity of early detection.
