Abstract

Diabetes mellitus as a widespread chronic disease in contemporary society. According to many world statistics increased incidence of diabetes mellitus takes an epidemic form. Number of patients is much higher than usually taken as pre-clinical stages or asymptomatic and oligosymptomatic with adult form of the disease are not included. There are numerous methods of examination in diabetes mellitus, particularly in prediabetic condition. Usually intravenous glycose load tests are preferred in diagnostics of preclinical and light clinical forms. Early detection and adequate treatment of diabetes mellitus enable secondary prevention and reduce numerous vascular complications and invalidity.
