In the past 4 years four cases of penile strangulation secondary to entrapment by human hair, thread and rubber band have been treated in Plastic Surgery unit at Aljala Hospital Benghazi. All patients had been circumcised and were between 2 years and 7 years of age. Total urethral transection had occurred in all these children. One child lost the glans due to a recurrent injury.
