200 blood samples were collected on filter paper discs from children of secondary school of two localities of north-eastern, Libya. micro-indirect haemagglutination (iha) test was employed to detect anti-hydatid antibodies using locally available hydatid fluid antigen. only three children (1.5%) were found positive in the test.
