Abstract
Certain aspects of population dynamics were studied in Tajura, Field Practice Area, Al Fateh University, Tripoli during 1980. The findings of this study shows that the population of Tajura is a young population (52.5% less than 15 years of age) with median age of about 15 years, 56 per cent population was dependent and 44 per cent active leading to a high dependency ration of 127.3. Overall 58.2 per cent people were married. Females (15—45) and children (0—14) constituted 68 per cent of total population.
