Abstract
Thrombocytopenia is associated with trauma of variable degrees. The underlying cause of thrombocytopenia is of variable pathophysiology. The aim of this pilot study is to assess the effect of dexamethasone on platelet count of Libyan traumatic patients admitted to the ICU.
