Abstract

The incidence of free-living arthropods and annelids in Libyan population is not very common and is a subject of medical importance. The paper describes unusual intestinal infections with art hropods (centipedes and Oniscus sp.) and annelids (Lumbricus sp.) in three different Libyan patients. The infection with centipede is described here for the first. All specimens recovered almost intact in stool, which did not show even partial digestion of the fragments.
