Abstract
Warts constituted about 1 percent of all dermatological disorders in the present study. Both sexes were affected almost equally and nearly half of the patients were in the age group 10-20 years. Verruca vulgaris was the most common clinical type observed, being seen in more than two-thirds of the patients. Dorsa of the hands and fingers were the sites most commonly affected by warts. The various modes of treatment of warts are discussed.
