Abstract
This paper reports an unusual complication of hydatid cyst of the liver in a young boy. The slow leak from the hydatid cyst lead to the formation of a large intraperitoneal pseudo-cyst without any evidence of hydatid membrane. Total excision of the pseudocyst resulted in complete recovery.
