Abstract

During the period January, 1975 to January, 1979, a total number of 41 Cases with Congenital Cardiac Lesions were detected in adolescents and adults. Among the commonly encountered lesions, 7 patients had “V.S.D.”, 10 patients had “A S.D.”, 5 patients had “Isolated pulmonary stenosis” and 4 patients were found to have “Tetralogy of Fallot”. Whereas other relatively uncommon lesions detected included 3 cases of P.D.A., two cases each of coarctation of aorta, congenital aortic stenosis, dextrocardia, Marfan’s syndrome and corrected transposition of great vessels. One patient was found to have a very rare anomaly, i.e. “Situs solitus with double outlet left venticule and pulmonary stenosis.
